This weekend is Father’s Day, have you thought about what you’re doing for your Dad? Most Dad’s are notoriously difficult to buy for, so why not make something nice for him instead? No I am not talking about the arts and crafts you used to make when you were five. I mean a well cooked meal that you both can enjoy, like cannabis and steak.
Take something that is already great, like a grilled flank steak, and add Envy’s THC Olive Oil to create an amazing cannabis infused steak. Or add these cannabis infused Ricotta Stuffed Mushrooms as a side to your Dad’s favourite meal. Or live on the wild side and try them both!
Maybe your Dad isn’t too keen on THC yet or you need something more soothing after a long day out doing activities with your Dad; fishing, hunting, hiking, playing a high intensity sport and all the other stereotypical things you might associate with your dad. Grilled Flank Steak with Cannabis infused Chimicurri Sauce
1 1/2 pounds flank steak
1 1/4 cups fresh Italian parsley
1/2 cup cannabis infused olive oil
1/4 cup olive oil
1/3 cup lemon juice preferably fresh
2 tablespoons garlic minced
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- Combine all ingredients except flank steak in a blender or food processor and process to puree and combine ingredients. Set aside.
- Sprinkle both sides of steak with salt and pepper. Grill over medium-hot flame for about 5 minutes per side for medium-rare.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before cutting.
- Serve steak slices, cut against the grain, accompanied by chimichurri sauce.

Ricotta Stuffed Mushrooms
8 large white mushrooms, stems removed
5 cloves of garlic, crushed
3-4 tablespoons partially skimmed ricotta cheese
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cracked black pepper
1 tablespoon infused extra virgin olive
4 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Clean mushrooms, remove stems. Chop stems and any extra mushroom.
- Heat olive in a saute pan, add chopped stem and mushrooms.
- Halfway through cooking, add crushed garlic, salt and pepper.
- Remove from heat and allow cooling slightly in a small mixing bowl.
- Add ricotta and 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan.
- Fill caps with cheese mixture and place on a cookie sheet that has been sprayed with cooking spray. Sprinkle remaining Parmesan on top.
- Bake for about 15 minutes.
These mushrooms are a perfect pairing with cannabis and steak or almost any other meal! And they’re just as great on their own.
Note: All THC doses are an estimate. We always suggest starting at a lower dose if you are new to these products and increasing slowly until you find what works best for you.
