Back to work after a long weekend? Feeling a little tired? Hungover, maybe? Cannabis firecrackers are the easiest after work snack to give you a little pick me up to make it through the rest of the week. This cannabis firecracker recipe is simple (only 3 ingredients, 30 minutes and oven) and requires no actual cooking skills. Therefore it is much simpler than cooking weed brownies and requires significantly less prep time. Bonus, no forethought needed!

What do you think of when you hear cannabis firecracker? We can’t not mention how the name of this amazing cannabis treat is so appropriate following the Canada Day long weekend! Did you celebrate with last weeks special white and red cannabis popsicles? Take a look at the recipe here. With other ingredients you could make them any colour you’d like. If you make a variation of this recipe let us know how they worked for you.

Many people grind up and use their favourite strain with this recipe, but with Miss Envy it can be even simpler! Just use our THC coconut oil, or you even have the option to use CBD coconut oil for a more relaxing less high evening.

Graham Crackers

Peanut butter of your choice (can use almond butter or other peanut butter alternatives)

Coconut oil of your choice (or your favourite strain if you wish). Recommend ½-1 teaspoon per cracker to start.

Note regarding dosage:

1 Tablespoon (15ml) of CBD coconut oil is approx 30mg CBD which means 1 teaspoon (5ml) is 10mg CBD
1 Tablespoon (15ml) of THC coconut oil is approx 50mg THC which means 1 teaspoon (5ml) is 16mg THC

If you chose to use the THC coconut oil use responsibly. Consequently always recommend starting with a smaller dose and increasing slowly until you find the best dose for you.

INSTRUCTIONS Cannabis Firecracker

  1. Preheat oven to 325
  2. Break graham crackers in half
  3. Spread peanut butter on top of one half
  4. Spread coconut oil on top (or finely ground cannabis)  Note: if you are using a smaller dose of coconut oil and want it to be distributed more evenly in the peanut butter mix the peanut butter and coconut oil in a bowl before spreading it onto the cracker
  5. Sandwich two halves of the graham cracker together and wrap in tinfoil
  6. Baked in the oven for 25-30mins
  7. Enjoy! Can top your cannabis firecracker with honey or maple syrup or chocolate sauce

All this talk of graham crackers is making me think of camping. For next week we have to try a cannabis s’more recipe that would be perfect for camping this summer (or even a backyard bar-b-que). Check back next week to see how Miss Envy does cannabis s’mores. (update: now posted here)

But hey, prep these cannabis firecrackers before you hit the road for camping and I am sure they heat up just as nice over a fire!
