As we promised here are some amazing cannabis recipes for Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is a great time to share a meal with family and friends, particularly when you have the opportunity to cook together. We already have an amazing recipe for cannabis garlic mashed potatoes which is the best Thanksgiving side dish. But mashed potatoes aren’t the only side stuffing and cranberry sauce are essential sides for Thanksgiving. Give these Cannabis Stuffing and Cannabis Cranberry sauce recipes a try this Thanksgiving and let us know what you think. Also a bonus recipe, cannabis artichoke dip which is the perfect appetizer for any dinner party.

Cannabis Sourdough Stuffing With Sausage, Apples, Cranberries

Cannabis Stuffing

Stuffing is a staple for Thanksgiving gatherings, so why not make it a cannabis stuffing? This recipe has sausage which does make it extra tasty but you can leave out the sausage to make this recipe vegetarian.

Serves 10

INGREDIENTS

5 1/4 cups day-old sourdough bread, cubed
1 pound sage pork sausage
1 cup chopped onion
3/4 cup chopped celery
2 1/2 teaspoons dried sage*
1 1/2 teaspoons dried rosemary*
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme*
1 Granny Smith apple, cored and chopped
3/4 cup dried cranberries
1/3 cup minced fresh parsley
1 cooked turkey liver, finely chopped (optional)
1 3/4 cup chicken stock
4 tablespoons of butter combined with melted Miss Envy coconut oil (example: 1 tablespoon of THC coconut oil mixed with 3 tablespoons of butter for 5mg THC per serving)

*substitute fresh herbs, if available, but you’ll need to increase amounts to adjust

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F
  2. Spread the bread cubes in a single layer on a large baking sheet. Bake for 5-7 minutes or until evenly toasted. Transfer cubes to a large bowl.
  3. In a large skillet, brown the sausage and onions over medium heat, breaking up any lumps.
  4. Add celery, sage, rosemary, and thyme to pan; continue cooking for a few minutes to blend flavors
  5. Pour sausage mixture over bread in the bowl. Mix in chopped apples, dried cranberries, parsley, and liver.
  6. Put stuffing mixture into a lightly oiled casserole dish.
  7. Drizzle with turkey stock and melted butter.
  8. Bake at 350°F for 40 minutes, covered; then 15 minutes uncovered. Serve.

Cannabis Cranberry Sauce:

Cranberry, Apple, and Ginger Cannabis Chutney

Cannabis Cranberry Sauce

Plan to make this cannabis cranberry sauce recipe a day ahead to allow the flavors to fully blend and blossom. 

Serves 10

INGREDIENTS

5 cups fresh cranberries
1 1/4 cup raisins
1 cup Honey mixed with melted Miss Envy coconut oil 
2 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 1/4 teaspoon minced fresh ginger root
1/2 cup chopped Granny Smith apple
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1 cup of water
1/2 cup minced onion
1/2 cup finely chopped celery

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Combine the cranberries, raisins, cannabis honey, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and water in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil then reduce to a simmer and cook over low heat until berries start to pop (about 5 minutes).
  3. Add onion, apple, and celery. Continue to cook, stirring occasionally, 5-10 more minutes until the mixture begins to thicken.
  4. Transfer to a container and cool.
  5. Refrigerate overnight. Serve.

Cannabis Artichoke Dip

Cannabis Artichoke Dip

Cannabis artichoke dip is a great addition to any dinner party.

INGREDIENTS

1 ½ Cup Raw Cashews (soaked for 2 hrs)
1 ½ cup plain unsweetened almond milk
3-4 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
4 medium-large cloves garlic
2 tsp Nutritional Yeast
1 ½ tsp sea salt
1 tsp dry (ground) mustard
10-12 tsp of oil total. Mix Miss Envy’s THC olive oil with regular olive oil for the desired dose.

2 cans artichoke hearts, drained and roughly chopped
4 cups Thinly Shredded Swiss or Rainbow Chard (can substitute spinach)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 375°. In a blender, combine all the ingredients up to the break in the ingredients list (when you reach Miss Envy’s THC olive oil).
  2. Empty blender into a large mixing bowl. Stir in artichoke hearts and spinach.
  3. Pour into a 9 x 13 baking or casserole dish and bake for 25-30 minutes or Pour into a 7 x 11 baking or casserole dish and bake for 30-35 minutes, until the top of cannabis artichoke dip is golden and center is warm.
  4. Let cool and cut into 10-12 equal portions (determine the size of portions based on dose)
