I’m sure you’ve heard of bullet proof coffee! As well as the numerous reasons why people are choosing to start their day with this amazing beverage. Bonus, it’s incredibly simple, just add butter and MCT oil to your favourite morning brew.
The main benefits are: a longer lasting boost of energy in the morning as well as helping those who choose to skip breakfast feel more satiated. Not that we necessarily support skipping breakfast, but there are many reasons why people choose to skip this meal, just make sure you are focusing on what is best for your health. You could try pre-making these amazing Miss Envy Blissed out CBD Matcha Balls to have with your morning coffee, they’re healthy and delicious.
BULLET PROOF COFFEE INGREDIENTS
1 Cup freshly brewed coffee
2 Tbsp unsalted butter
1 Tsp – 1 Tbsp coconut oil of your choice
(1 tsp has approximately 16mg of THC or 10mg CBD , 1 tbsp has approximately 50mg of THC or 31 mg of CBD)
- Brew your favourite coffee the way you like it.
- Add butter and coconut oil while it is hot (some like to blend it quickly in a blender to make it frothy and ensure it is well mixed)
HOW TO MAKE THIS RECIPE UNIQUE
Add flavours: try adding cinnamon, or pumpkin spice in the fall, or start with a flavoured coffee like hazelnut or french vanilla.
OR IF YOU DON’T LIKE COFFEE
This recipe works just as well with decaf, with hot tea, or hot chocolate.
Note: some people have stomach problems if they add too much oil right always so we suggest starting small, let’s say a teaspoon or less, and working your way up to a tablespoon.
Also be aware of the dose of cannabis, above is only approximations and if you are choosing to use THC we suggest you always start with less and work your way up to find the most desired dose. You can always mix Miss Envy’s coconut oil with your regular coconut oil to increase the total amount of oil in your bullet proof coffee.
